Before starts painting, Claudia Simões worked as nuclear physics. Today, with exhibitions in Brazil, Latin America and Europe, the artist spend her life to make amazing watercolors painting.
Using different techniques and inspirations, Claudia live the surf culture, transporting the viewer into a dream by different proportions and angles used by the artist in his works.
The artist works with asimple palette of colors, based mainly in shades of blue and green by the pace and frequency of brushstrokes tones mingle in harmony, bringing complexity to the work.
Another strong point of the Claudia Simoes´s art is the meaning of white paper source mixed with water effects. The artist reveals his sensitivity and expression, sometimes aggressive with rapid brushwork and strong, making the wave blowing, or sometimes with merging white pieces of blue, turning into fluid and smooth waves, interacting with the surfer.
The perspective lines of the tables Claudia reveals an interesting point of view and even peculiar artist, making the viewing angle away from the action, like in a helicopter or even a flight of a gull on the ocean; giving the action a very expressive tone.
