I started airbrushing boards in 1971, first for myself, then for friends. People would see my work and request me to do their board.  My mentor was Al Dove who worked for Lightning Bolt, Tropical Blends and Surfline.

He taught me all about airbrushing. By the mid-70’s I was doing boards for different shops around Honolulu and in 1978 started working full time at Hawaiian Island Creations.  In the mid-80’s worked for Local Motion, and also Naish in Kailua airbrushing sailboards for Robbie Naish, Pete Cabrinha and others.

The 90’s I was working on the N.shore, the W. side at Makaha, and the E. side.  I did boards for whoever wanted them, and worked at many different glassing and shaping factories.  At this time I am working in Wahiawa, on the way to the North shore at FineLine Glassing.

We do Wade Tokoro, Tim Carroll, and some Glenn Pang boards.  We also do whoever wants us to work on their boards.  I also paint acrylics on canvas, t-shirts, make jewelry in silver and shells, and surf everyday.
